After your first examination and completion of X-rays, we will be happy to discuss all of your options. We are proud to offer several different treatment options for straighter teeth and a beautiful smile. We understand the importance of showing you all of our options and discussing them thoroughly with you. We want you to find the best treatment option for you, no matter what you choose.
We are proud to offer the following services to achieve the smile of your dreams:
Braces (for all ages)
Here at Dynamic Smiles Orthodontics, we are proud to offer braces to our patients, both children and adults. No matter your age, you deserve a smile that gives you confidence. For many patients, braces are the treatment they require for a straighter, healthier smile. Braces can fix crowded teeth, gap teeth, misaligned bites, and more.
When determining the best course of action to fix your smile, our dentists will do a thorough examination with x-rays, a comprehensive exam of your oral health, and gather important information from your dental history. We will then decide what type of braces would work best for you.
Be sure to brush your teeth often while you have braces, so food and other particles do not get stuck and collect bacteria. Flossing is equally important. You may also find that some foods are more difficult to eat or may be rough on your braces. It’s best to stay away from those types of foods.
Invisalign (for all ages)
Dynamic Smiles Orthodontics is proud to offer Invisalign®. Invisalign® is a wonderful, modern alternative treatment to braces. You can straighten your teeth without installing metal in your mouth. Instead, we use plastic trays (also known as aligners) to move your teeth back into place. Each aligner is custom made to fit your mouth so you don’t have to worry about mouth irritation or anything else that traditional braces can cause.
Since the aligners are removable, they are easier to keep clean. You can also continue to brush and floss your teeth without trying to avoid harming your braces.
Invisalign® is also popular because the aligners are clear, so most people don’t even know you are wearing anything unless you tell them. If you have considered straightening your teeth but don’t want to bother with braces, don’t hesitate to contact us today at 203 828 1088.
Early Treatment
Early interceptive treatment is a proactive approach to orthodontic care, aimed at addressing potential issues in a child’s developing smile. By intervening at a young age, we can guide the growth of the jaw and teeth, potentially reducing the need for more extensive treatment later on. Our team specializes in early interceptive treatment, offering customized solutions to help children achieve optimal oral health and alignment.
Palatal Expander
Palate expanders are orthodontic appliances used to widen the upper jaw, creating additional space for crowded teeth and improving overall dental alignment. This treatment is particularly beneficial for individuals with narrow dental arches or crossbites. At Dynamic Smiles Orthodontics, we offer customized palate expander solutions tailored to each patient’s unique needs, helping them achieve a harmonious and balanced smile.
Retention
Retainers play a crucial role in maintaining the results of orthodontic treatment by preventing teeth from shifting back to their original positions. After braces or other orthodontic appliances are removed, wearing retainers as prescribed by your orthodontist is essential for long-term stability and a lasting smile. Our practice offers a variety of retainer options, including traditional Hawley retainers, clear Essix retainers, and bonded lingual retainers, ensuring that patients can maintain their beautiful smiles with comfort and confidence.
Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs)
Temporary anchorage devices (TADs) are small titanium screws that are temporarily placed in the jawbone to provide additional support during orthodontic treatment. These devices can be used to facilitate the movement of teeth or to help control the position of the jaw. At Dynamic Smiles Orthodontics, we utilize TADs as part of our comprehensive treatment approach, ensuring efficient and effective results for our patients.
Jaw Correction
Jaw correction, also known as orthognathic surgery, is a specialized procedure aimed at correcting irregularities of the jawbone and bite. This treatment may be recommended for individuals with severe misalignment or functional issues that cannot be addressed with braces alone. Our experienced team works closely with oral surgeons to plan and execute jaw correction procedures, helping patients achieve improved function, aesthetics, and overall oral health.
